Uncertainty

Leaving the Hell

We stayed for 3 more days. It was already clear for everyone that they won't allow us to fly from this position, but the command still won't let us out.

We needed to evacuate the equipment.

We expected to have an NRK at the morning of the first day to load and move the equipment, but it failed to arrive. We had few close fpv hits this day and 1 round of artillery(3-4 shots). Patience of my comrade was out of the building. We were lying low. Although we had visitors looking for not occupied digouts.

The second day a vampire drone(our huge drones used for logistics or heavy bombing) arrived and attached to it the new cables for the antenna we supposed to set up. Still no evacuation.

At the very morning of the 3rd day an fpv banged either our roof or the tree with antenna again. We finally were allowed to leave. But we had to carry the equipment by hands gosh.

Do we picked up the ecoflow, the big starlink, the antenna, our injured comrade's backpack filled with smaller equip like chargers, his weapon and we left.

We had to go past the place our guy got hit, then an asphalt road and then 2 km to the other position where we could drop the equipment. Fortunately the skies were clear and we managed to carry all this shit to the place.

Then 3 guys from that position were rotating so we basically moved home as 5 people.

The armored car which supposed to evacuate us drove on a mine and turned back home. The pickup as replacement was hit by an fpv and burned on the way to us, fortunately no casualties.

We moved quite fast, we knew that in the last tree line before entrance to the city a few days ago a group got caught. 1 died, two injured.

The sky was clear, almost whole path, just 3 fpvs, 2 of them were ours. When we were passing the last treeline we saw the opened backpacks of the hit group. Quite worrying look.

We managed to get into a city safely. Then a car evacuated us to our base.

I bought lots of food and drinks, as much as I can carry and resting.

Trying to code. Should have an interview with another brigade today. They are interested in an IT guy rather than a pilot.

I really want the IT guy to not die. Coz there is really no good future for the pilot.

Still dreaming of a good house/cabin in the Sweden woods.
