Returned to the base.
The walk was too long and tiresome. 12km, gosh. It took about 6 hours for us.
We decided to go as soon as our replacement arrived, because it was rainy and windy (bad for flying).
My right leg failed me, it was damaged the day before, when I was setting up an antenna on a tree. It was hurting on every step and I couldn't raise it up really. Which is not good when you move in tree lines.
Somewhere in the middle of the path I damaged my other foot and fell on the ground. The backpack, the armor, the weapon add quite a lot of weight in total.
There were few open places on the path, from 50 to 600 meters. It was basically a lottery for me to die or not, coz I knew I wouldn't be able to run from the fpvs.
I took a pain removal pill and I got the control of my legs.
Anyway, we got lucky and returned back home safe.
The bad thing is that my team mate was with the radio and he had to report at least one a hour. He didn't do it at all, as turned out. The worse thing that the base was trying to reach us the whole time and it is a huge issue when 2 soldiers are out of connection.
Anyway, I am home, resting. My legs hurt, my shoulders hurt, and they gave us 2 radios and told to report now every hour.. Me as well as the collective punishment. Great.
I ate shaverma, bought chips, fruits and a bottle of Sprite. I also have got a sweet box parcel from my work.
Eating day.
